A 100% electronic micro-selection, with full control and complete diagnostics, is ideal for functioning in dusty environments, maintenance-free and temperature-independent.

The revolutionary compact drive mechanism, developed specifically for production with high load and maximum flexibility, contains following features:

• Fully balanced double cam drive
• Fewer and lighter parts resulting in low friction and low vibration
• Low center of gravity, reducing jacquard and gantry vibration
• Minimal maintenance with self-lubricating parts

A dwell is a period in a cycle of the jacquard during which the shed remains motionless in open position. This stationary period or dwell of the cycle within the drive mechanism is specified to suit each installation:

• Integrated dwell set-up to suit each loom width and application
• Shed angle optimization
• Optimal insertion time
• Yarn stretch reduced for optimal weaving
• Higher weaving efficiencies
• Larger dwells possible, without reducing weaving speed, by reduction in inertia due to compactness

After many years of experience in producing harnesses for velvet and carpet weaving machines of Vandewiele, BONAS now offers harnesses for the jacquard weaving industry. A continuous drive for high quality, durability and extensive testing at heavy load cumulates in a harness customized to weave practically all fabrics from silk to technical textiles. The BONAS iS harness is designed for optimal weaving at the highest efficiency, leading to the highest quality fabrics.

BONAS' Control innovator - Ce - is the latest Linux based jacquard controller, a practical and efficient interface between user and jacquard. The Ce controller features a clear display of information using icons, on a 10,4” color touch screen, making navigation between functions quick and easy.

Pattern transfer is made possible by USB or network, allowing bi-directional communication. The Ce is Industry 4.0 compliant.
